When someone goes to swear on the forum it comes up with a white screen saying 500?

any ideas ?

i second this question... when i try to set the word censor it comes up with that screen and doesnt set the correction... it hasnt been much of a problem yet because none of my members are attempting to say the word im trying to censor

I'm having this issue as well. Why are the forums being globally censored? I have a forum full of adults who should be allowed to say F*** if they want to.

You can bypass it by using creative ways of spelling said words. It is still a pain in the ass, but it seems to go with the territory of the 'free' forum.

Trust me, been there. Best thing is, don't use swear words, or anything P harm acy related, same as Cas ino words. That means proofreading, right? Duh. Still it would be nice to have that word filter disabled to those of us with forums established already....which was the whole point of this thread.

If you do manage a way around the word minefield... you still get to 500 characters and thats too many. FVCKED if I know why.

One of my members is having problems posting, no matter WHAT he types, it comes up with the dang 500 on the white page.

Even with a new dang profile, he STILL cant post, im hoping this gets fixed soon, or i will tansfer my forum elseware.

And not having tha dang censors on would be nice, or just have it so the admin can change it by clicking a button, or setting it how high they want it, you know, kinda like the internet parents do for kids? Cause well, we arent ALL kids here, and some of us would like to talk like adults to other adults.
