I can see that being a real pain in the ass if you have a whack of members who you already managed to get onto the one you built here. They have to move again...guh. But yeah, I can see your point. Good luck with your new board. I'm still hammering away for my transfer.

My members get the "500" white screen even if they don't use swear/curse words.

Sometimes when they just try to post a new thread that "500 white screen" pops up.

We can't even say that a group of senior citizens has taken a bus trip to a c....a....s....i....n...o.... and we can't used the other word for drugstore and we can't put the other word for grown-ups in quotes . We think that if people can sign on with usernames like suckmypenis, we sure should be able to say the word for the place people take bus trips to put money in machines and win quarters. STUPID. Who is in charge here?

The guys who run MakeForum. Liam just does the admin for this particular board...but yeah, the ones he is supposed to be helping with support are sucking some major cawk somewhere and enjoying it because it takes forever and a day to get a response from them.

I found a trick to bypass the wordfilter. If you're typing a word, like pussy as she-wolf was trying to say, type part of the word, then press (Alt+0173).

It adds an invisible character to the word that the word filters don't recognize. Enjoy.

Sorry to be redundant but does anyone know when this will be fixed? any clues? I just spent a ton of time on my forum and didn't realize i couldn't make legitimate posts about subjects such as c.asin.os po.r.n.o.gra.phy or even p.h.ar.m.a.ci.es. I wish i would have known about this before i spent so much time on it, i would have used a different phpbbhost.

but now that i have spent the time i guess i will hold off and see if it gets fixed but if it's not soon i have to switch hosts

any time frame on the free speech fix?

It seems that these forums ban the word s.o.m.a. I understand that it's related to d-rugs or smthing like that, but please, could you take the ban away? My forum is in Finnish and we have words like "kats.o.massa" (without the dots of course) which means simply "be watching" in English. Our forum bans every post that has letters s, o, m and a in line and it's not very nice since we aren't going to post anything related to d-rugs and it's definetely a fact that we want to use our mother language and therefore not to get our posts banned. And we even have the word s.o.m.a in Finnish, but it means something like "sweet" or "cute", not anything p.harmacy related.

Thanks, if something really happens. Which, I have to say, I truly doubt.

I am about 1 week from dropping my forum, and re-creating it else ware. And telling my friends to all do the same.
